Support Needed

We need God’s help more than anything, and we believe the greatest work is done on our knees! If you’d be willing to regularly support us in prayer, sign up for our newsletter below which will provide up to date prayer requests each month. In the meantime, here are a few prayer requests that could be lifted up to the Lord right now.

#1 - HOME IN KANSAS CITY: We are still in search of some temporary housing in the Kansas City area. For now, we will be staying with generous family members, but our desire is to use a mission house of a local church or to purchase our own home in the community of the specific local church we are seeking to revitalize. Please pray that the Lord would provide in His way.

#2 - 100% FINANCIAL SUPPORT: In order to help struggling churches in Kansas City full-time, we need 80 individuals or organizations to support us at $100 a month. This financial support will help us find a home, provide health insurance, provide schooling, feed the family, and allow us to focus our attention on ministering to the local church. Currently, we are supported by 15 individuals which is about 18% of our fundraising goal. #3 - FAMILY: Moving to Missouri is the beginning of a new phase for all of us, so please be praying that God continues to give grace and strength. Laura is teaching 5th grade this year, and the kids have some of the biggest changes as they are all going to school at Blue Ridge Christian where Laura is teaching. Currently, they have a 40 minute commute to and from school. Pray for safety each morning and afternoon as well as all to love school! The kids are also very excited to live near family, but as they leave the home they’ve known for so long, pray that we will be patient with them, help them to navigate their emotions well, and continue to teach them of Jesus consistently.

#4 - FUTURE REPLANT CHURCH: Arriving in Kansas City is key in finding our first Future Replant Church that is in need. It will help us build relationships, connect with local churches, and be hands on with a potential congregation. Please be in prayer for the future church we will eventually be working with—that the Lord would prepare our hearts and theirs to come together for the common purpose of worshiping Him with our lives, knowing Him more intimately, discipling one another, and reaching out to the community together.
